User Terms for Video Creators

1. Videos you create on the Platform

How you become a user of the Platform: You create or are invited to create an account on our web application, available at: https://www.socialv.io or https://www.socialvenu.com ("WebApp") or the Platform. You create videos on our WebApp or Platform.

2. How your Videos are used on the Platform

Videos are used for marketing, sales, and support purposes. Our customers and SocialVenu can utilize videos created for their own purposes, including but not limited to their website, marketing, and sales initiatives. The videos that you create can be utilized by the platform worldwide, including but not limited to the platform's website plug-ins, the platform's YouTube business directory, and the platform's social media outlets.

3. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the videos you create. By posting a video, you agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for your account and the activity that occurs while signed in.
  • You will not post information that is malicious, false, or inaccurate.
  • You will not post content that infringes on a third-party's intellectual property rights.
  • We have the right to determine whether any User Content submissions are appropriate, remove submissions, and terminate your account without prior notice.
  • Any liability, loss, or damage resulting from the use of User Content you make available is solely your responsibility.
  • SocialVenu does not pre-screen or monitor all user content, though we may monitor interactions at our discretion.

4. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify SocialVenu and its agents, customers, and employees in any third-party action arising from a video you posted that violates these terms or any third-party's intellectual property.

5. Privacy and Personal Data

When you sign up or interact with the platform, we may collect:

Sign-up Information:

Name, email address, mobile number, and/or IP addresses.

User Content:

Videos, pictures, and other content you choose to upload.

Sharing:

We share your Personal Data with hosting providers, customers, service providers, partners, and our staff.

6. HIPAA / Protected Health Information (PHI)

PLEASE REVIEW THIS SECTION CAREFULLY:

  • Protected Health Information (PHI) can be used for marketing or advertising purposes.
  • PHI is limited to first name, last initial, the user-generated video images, and its included language.
  • Patient authorization is granted by accepting these Terms of Use and needs no further authorization.
  • No PHI beyond the actual user-generated video will be shared in a way that dictates the healthcare provider disclose PHI without written authorization.
  • Revocation: With a written request, the consent to utilize a patient-generated video may be revoked at any point by emailing: support@socialvenu.com.

7. Security and Rights

Security:

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect data but cannot guarantee it against unauthorized penetration.

Your Rights:

You may have rights to access, correct, or delete Personal Data under applicable laws. We will make reasonable efforts to honor these requests promptly.
